==Operation==
The like the standard [[Tribes: Ascend/NJ4 SMG|NJ4]], the '''Desert NJ4''' fires it's rounds at an extremely fast rate, giving it a very high DPS (higher than the standard version). Like all automatics in Tribes: Ascend this weapon is not hitscan and requires the player to lead their target when firing.
