The lack of maneuverability limits the use of heavy armor to tasks where speed is not required - though there are exceptions. Heavy is most useful in situations where you are likely to take a lot of punishment such as defending your base or taking over the enemy base. Heavy armor is also the only armor that can carry a [[Tribes 2/Weapons/Mortar|mortar]], which is a key weapon when it comes to attacking the enemy base.</div>
