Tribes: Ascend/Ammo Drop

Ammo drops are small canisters that drop when a player dies. These canisters award ammo to whoever picks it up. Certain Perks will award a player health and energy, as well as ammo. The default ammo awarded is 30% of the player's weapon's ammo capacity. The ammo drop will disappear after 60 seconds. If the player dies in the air, the ammo drop will fall to the ground, however, there is a bug where some ammo drops will hover in the air.
