Permanent Tech Masteries are acquired by spending Tech at the Tech Mastery console. These upgrades persist after the player dies.  Permanent Tech Masteries are split into three trees: Defense, Damage, and Utility.

The maximum Tech Upgrade Tier is initially 8, however, upon beating ''Keep it Together'', the maximum Tech Upgrade Tier is increased to 10. All tech masteries require general {{Tech Points}} to upgrade, and each requires {{Tech Components}} specific to the mastery being upgraded.
