Probe Drones are an enemy in Deadzone: Rogue.
All parts of the Probe Drone are considered to be weakpoints.
Probe Drones will move toward damaged enemies. Intermittently, they will heal a nearby enemy, displaying a green trail between the two. This heal is generally strong enough to restore the target to full HP. If the Probe Drone receives a debuff while the green trail is visible, its heal target also receives the debuff.
Single Probe Drones appear in almost every room starting from Security Level 6[verification needed], including each perk room starting from Security Level 7[verification needed]. Probe Drones will always roam.
Strategy
- Probe Drones are a high-priority target whenever they appear. Although they share a similar role to Guardian Bots, their improved AI and durability make them significantly more effective. Use stealth to scout out its position and try to destroy them as fast as possible.
- Damaging other enemies can be used to bait the Probe Drone to a more accessible location. Be warned that leaving an enemy alive like this is risky.
