Deadzone: Rogue Playtest

Patch Notes - 1/22/2025

Weapons

  • The first Affix on a weapon will always be an elemental proc.
  • Added elemental procs affixes on melee weapons
  • Moved Hand Cannon to Primary slot
  • Moved Burst SMG to Primary slot

Bots

  • Reworked Switchblade encounter
  • Removed damaged-based stagger from bots
  • Adjusted bot sight
  • General Gameplay

Loot Drops

  • Adjusted when Items, Perks and Augments get dropped
  • The first encounter room will now drop a Weapon loot orb
  • Explosive Barrels
    • Adjusted damage, knockback, and radius of the elemental barrels.
  • Fabricator Shop
    • Added limits to how much a weapon can be upgraded and affixes rerolled in the fabricator
    • Removed armor rarity upgrades
    • Added Affixes to Armor
    • Adjusted armor upgrade prices
  • The game will pause in menus in Single Player. This currently does not apply to fabricators.
  • Updated difficulty descriptions.

Co-Op

  • Cleaned up Co-Op screen
  • Added additional confirmation before leaving lobby and disbanding a lobby in Co-Op
  • Adjusted Restart Run flow for Co-Op
    • Added a HUD notification for players to be warned of impending restart time (5 seconds)

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where Mastery Upgrades were not being properly applied after purchasing and dying.
  • Fixed an issue where Health Packs that were bought from the Fabricator wouldn't deduct scrap from the player
  • Fixed issue where the performance analysis page in the starting ship was not showing properly.
  • Fixed an issue where the text on Augment and Perk cards would overlap.
  • Fixed an issue where the Electrical Tape item did not protect the player from self-damage.
  • Fixed an issue where the Ammo Auto Factory would not give back ammo.
  • Fixed an issue where combat music would play when you entered a cleared room
  • Fixed an issue where the boss' music would start playing before the encounter began.
  • Fixed an issue where the current difficulty would not show correctly on the End of Run and Zone Cleared screens.
  • Fixed an issue where enemies on the radar would blip back in for a second after they died.
  • Fixed an issue where automatic weapons did not have their input cleared when the pause menu was opened.
  • Fixed floating screens in the Man-Spider room.
  • Fixed an issue in Co-Op where the host player would hear certain sounds at very low volume
  • Fixed an issue in Co-Op where a spectated player's rotation wouldn't match where the player was actually looking.
  • Fixed an issue in Co-Op where spectating players would not see the boss animations correctly.
  • Fixed an issue in Co-Op where a spectating player would see double damage numbers.
  • Fixed an issue in Co-Op where the End of Run and Zone Cleared screens would not show stats and progress properly.

Known Issues

  • A joining player in Co-op may lose the ability to dash sometimes.
  • A joining player in Co-Op may sometimes get stuck in a room after they died and revived.
  • Some Perk and Augment icons are missing or duplicated.
