Terrain
Katabatic takes place on snowy, mountainous terrain. Large rock outcroppings jut out of hills along with a small collection of snow-covered trees. There is a small bridge across a frozen river in the center of the map, flanked by two higher bridges containing a Health Nugget in the center, with further down on either side of the frozen river also containing a health nugget.
Base
Katabatic has one main base with a ramp to an adjoining tower, as well as a large underground section that houses the Generator. The underground Generator section can be entered through a cave entrance near the flag stand, or through two doors on a low-profile building marked with a tall scaffold. The Radar Sensor is on a hill behind the base next to a large obelisk. The first Base Turret is on a small hill in front of the base. The second base turret is directly behind the base near the Radar Sensor.
