This first release is mainly geared towards addressing joystick support. This release contains two files, tribes.exe, and an example file joystick.cs. Tribes.exe contains the following changes:

• New actions were added to allow joystick binding.
• A small problem with player client side ground contact was corrected. This problem would cause players to sometimes appear to be skating over the ground.
• Player transition interpolation. Animations normally switch instantaneously from one to another. A preference variable, $pref::animateWithTransitions, was added that, if set to true, causes the game to interpolate between transitions. This results in smoother looking player animation.
