This first release is mainly geared towards addressing joystick support. This release contains two files, tribes.exe, and an example file joystick.cs. Tribes.exe contains the following changes:

New actions were added to allow joystick binding.
A small problem with player client side ground contact was corrected. This problem would cause players to sometimes appear to be skating over the ground.
Player transition interpolation. Animations normally switch instantaneously from one to another. A preference variable, $pref::animateWithTransitions, was added that, if set to true, causes the game to interpolate between transitions. This results in smoother looking player animation.
