The Defective Frag Grenade is a thrown explosive weapon variant used by the Doombringer class in Tribes: Ascend. It can be unlocked for 40 Gold or 4800 XP.

Operation
This weapon works just like any other normal grenade, except with very low damage and a wide radius.
