| The '''Medium Armor''' is a balanced class that has a decent amount of health while not sacrificing too much speed. While it will have trouble when it comes across a [[Tribes 3: Rivals/Heavy Armor|Heavy Armor]] a skilled user of the Medium Armor will be able to handle a mediocre Heavy. The main focus of this class is as a support role, to support the flag grabbers. The Medium armor in ''Rivals'' is a bit different than its counterpart in ''Ascend'', now being able to use sniper rifles originally only available to the light armors, and the [[Tribes 3: Rivals/Gladiator|Gladiator]], which was available only to the heavy armors.
