The Spinfusor is one of the three Spinfusor variations in Tribes 3: Rivals, and is a primary weapon for the Medium Armor. Compared to the other primary weapon for the Medium Armor, the Thumper, the Spinfusor does less damage on a direct hit (840 instead of 980), but it has a larger explosion radius and a faster rate of fire. This makes the Spinfusor a better primary weapon choice for players who hit primarily with splash damage.
