The Extended Fractal Grenade is a thrown weapon variant used by the Brute class in Tribes: Ascend. It can be unlocked for 160 Gold or 18000 XP.

Operation
When thrown the Extended Fractal will open and begin firing yellow bolts of energy in a 360 degree sphere. Each bolt deals 350 damage. This weapon differs from the standard Fractal Grenade in that it has a longer firing time, resulting is a greater area denial effect and firing more shots.
