Starsiege:2845, formerly a total conversion MOD for Tribes: Vengeance, was a stand-alone game built on Garage Games' Torque Game Engine / Torque Shader Engine, designed to combine aspects from both mech and infantry games. It was under development by a group of very dedicated community members from a variety of gaming backgrounds, formed under a modding team known as the ClanCore Development Group. The game took place in the Starsiege Universe, continuing 13 years after the original Starsiege.

A total of 39 vehicles (both new and old), 10 types of infantry, 82 different weapons and 93 different components (almost all unique and not variants of one another) were planned for the game, with three playable human characters. Infantry units would have up to 28 different weapons to chose from, while Scarab armour was planned to have around 15 heavy weapons. A new compendium in the same spirit and style as the old was being created by ClanCore, which can be read here.

The game itself was to be released in two segmented parts with the multiplayer portion of 2845 coming out first as a free download and the single player campaign arriving later after play testing on the multiplayer. However, considering VU had reserved the rights to profit from the singleplayer, it's possible it wouldn't have been released for free. A playable ATR (Alpha Tech Release) was released in January 205, and can be downloaded here. Both the multiplayer and campaign components were to be released on the new Torque Shader Engine or TSE. A video of the ATR can be watched here.
