Inheritance

The Light Spinfusor has a 50% speed inheritance on fired projectiles. The base speed for the projectile is 78.4 m/s, with a maximum speed of 160 m/s, regardless of the inherited speed.

Kick Strength

The Light Spinfusor has an impulse strength of 85,000 uu applied to players hit by its disc.

Operation

Like all Spinfusors, the Light Spinfusor fires energized disks over long distances. These disks travel in a straight line unaffected by gravity, explode on impact, and cause knockback. They also have inheritance, which means that if fired while moving the disks will follow the momentum of their source. Because of this, if a player fires a Light Spinfusor at a stationary target while they are moving, the disk will impact to the side of the target instead of where it was aimed. Inheritance makes the Light Spinfusor a weapon that can be challenging to master.

The weapon's knockback can also be used to aid in skiing. If a Pathfinder fires the weapon into the ground behind them while skiing, the knockback will propel them forward faster than they could achieve from just gravity (This can also be done with the Pathfinder's Impact Nitron). Known as disk-jumping, skilled players can use this technique to hurl themselves around the map at incredible speeds.
