Patch Notes - June 9th

Loadouts and Inventory:

Loadouts and inventories have been reset!

Players will now have starting gear based on their level.

  • Levels 0 - 10: Common
  • Levels 11 - 20: Uncommon
  • Levels 21 - 30: Rare
  • Levels 31 - 40: Legendary
  • Levels 41 - 50: Exotic
  • Stash size reduced to 56 slots.

Shop:

  • Shop tab added. Everything is just a preview of what’s to come! Nothing can be bought yet.
Cosmetics:
  • Cosmetic emissives are now enabled in the Lobby and Space Bar. They are disabled in matches.
Crafting:
  • Component Sell Price Reduced.

Weapons:

  • Players start match with their energy weapon equipped initially
  • Some Energy Weapons now consume more ammo with each shot.
  • Weapons can no longer be unequipped in a match. They can only be swapped for other weapons.
  • Weapon falloff damage overhauled.
  • Weapon volume levels adjusted.
  • Some weapon descriptions updated.

Weapon Balance:

Crossbow:
  • Ammo Used Per Shot: 2
DMR:
  • Hipfire Spread changed from 3 to 6.3
Double Barrel Shotgun:
  • Damage Changed from 20 to 21
  • Rarity Scaling: 168-188/210/230/252/272/294
Pulse Rifle:
  • Fire Rate Changed from 0.083 to 0.0868
Pulse Shotgun:
  • Damage Changed from 10 to 12
  • Rarity Scaling: 120-134/150/164/180/194/210
  • Ammo Used Per Shot: 2
Spinfusor:
  • Ammo Used Per Shot: 4

Abilities:

  • Combat Decoy ability added.
  • The Combat Decoy is a modified version of the Hologram decoy that can target and shoot enemies!
  • Unlocked through the Hacker Tier 3 Mastery.

Perks:

  • Tiers added to perks. Only Tier 1 is currently available.
  • Loot Finder - Now highlights the Scavenger Mastery crates differently & highlights player and bot death crates as well.
Tier 1 Perks:
  • AoE Protection - Changed from 30 to 6
  • AoE Size - Changed from 20% to 4%
  • Ability Cooldowns - Changed from 30% to 6%
  • Damage Mitigation - Changed from 10% to 2%
  • EMP Stun Duration - Changed from 100% to 20%
  • Energy Damage - Changed from 10% to 2%
  • Fire Rate - Changed from 10% to 2%
  • Headshot Damage - Changed from 20% to 4%
  • Kinetic Damage - Changed from 10% to 2%
  • Melee Damage - Changed from 50% to 10%
  • Melee Protection - Changed from 40 to 8
  • Reload Speed - Changed from 35% to 7%
  • Hipfire Spread - Changed from 30% to 6%
  • ADS Movement Speed - Changed from 20% to 4%
  • AoE Damage - Changed from 20% to 4%
  • Shield Pack Effectiveness - Changed from 40% to 8%
  • ADS Time - Changed from 20% to 4%
  • Shield Pack Use Speed - Changed From 35% to 7%
  • Backstab Damage - Changed from 100% to 20%
  • Trap Damage Mitigation - Changed from 50% to 10%
  • Fast Mover - Movement Speed Changed from 15% to 3% & Extract Speed Changed from 20% to 4%

Masteries:

  • Engineering Tier 2 crate loot updated.
  • Improved Hacker Tier 2 Terminal spawned in the Luxury ship and Warship.
  • Updated the description for the Agility Mastery Tier 1.
  • Updated the description for the Cybrid Killer Mastery Tier 2.

Consumables:

  • Grenade throw timings adjusted.
  • Grenade bounciness adjusted.
  • Grenade animations updated.
  • Added Impulse Grenade to drops and Consumable Vendor.
  • Updated Description on Health Packs and Shield Packs
  • Flare SFX added.
  • Flare VFX adjusted.

Reviving:

  • In order to revive teammates, players now must get their teammate's Dog Tag!
  • On death, a player's Dog Tag can be found in their death crate.
  • Revive Stations will not show on the Radar unless a player is carrying their teammate's Dog Tag.

General Updates:

QOL:
  • Gamma Slider added on first launch and in the settings menu.
Player reporting:
  • Players can now be reported by opening the Escape Menu while in a match.
  • Reports can be sent for a player’s teammate or the player who killed you.
  • Vendors and Pricing updated.
Crafting:
  • Crafting Components sell prices adjusted from 75 credits to 55 credits.
  • Component requirements for crafting updated.
  • Stat display on tooltip adjusted to be more clear about what stats mods are upgrading.
  • Death Recap updated to show more accurate and easier to read information.
  • Special loot drops adjusted in Security Levels 3, 4 and 5.
  • Status VFX updated for silence, fire and poison.

Missions renamed to Contracts:

  • Daily Contracts added.
  • Contracts are now sorted on the end of match screen from most to least progressed.

Bots:

  • Hunters added to all Security Levels expect Low Security - “Kuiper Belt”
  • Hunters are player-like bots that hunt down other players.
  • They are extremely deadly, be careful!
  • Adjusted Cybrid health scaling.
  • Barrels can now awaken dormant bots.
  • Ambush bots are now hidden if revealed on the Radar while in the ambush state.
  • Scaled down the size of the elite switchblade bot slightly.

Map Generation:

  • Ceiling added to the Hydroponics room.
  • Added some variations to the Military Ship.
  • Overhauled how forced features are spawned.
  • Some rare feature spawns added.
  • Updated where Dropships, Revive Stations and Cybrid Holes can spawn in a room
  • Cargo room features updated

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed issue where the Escape Pod in the tutorial did not have a Radar icon.
  • Fixed issue where the backpack would not show ammo and armor incompatibility.
  • Fixed issue where players could not hear when someone activated the Teleport ability.
  • Fixed issue where drop crates would slide down stairs.
  • Fixed issue where Overshield could be used in the Space Bar.
  • Fixed issue where the Spinfusor would miss even when the target was well within the explosion radius.
  • Fixed issue where Passives would not apply properly.
  • Fixed issue where players would spawn in the sky.
  • Fixed Loot Finder typo.
  • Fixed issue where Masteries & Defensive power would apply more than once.
  • Fixed issue where the UI would continuously flash when using a passive ability.
  • Fixed issue where Healer Bots would heal bots hiding in an Ambush state.
  • Fixed issue where ambush cybrids would not play their SFX.
  • Fixed issue where Mastery abilities would not equip in slot 2.
  • Fixed issue where players could use a barrel to get up to the ceiling.
  • Fixed issue where some weapon projectiles would stick around after impact.

Known Issues:

  • Known RHI crash! Still investigating.
  • Known issue where sometimes cosmetic legs or feet won’t show on lobby mesh when first launching
  • Known inconsistency with extracted items staying in the backpack or going into the stash.
  • Known issue where Masteries will sometimes stack. Still investigating.
  • Player level in the lobby may display as 1 after returning from a match. This is fixed by switching tabs and returning.
